Let Me Be Your Therapist

Therapy & Coaching

In a world as challenging as ours, mental health can be hard for anyone to come by. Stress can have profound effects on health and relationships, but healing is always possible!

I’m a licensed psychotherapist (LMHP, LMHC) offering therapy to clients in NY and NE and coaching to clients throughout the United States. My practice is geared toward treating individuals, couples, and families with a complex or unconventional history as they heal from hardship and resolve longstanding conflicts.

I use a down-to-earth, nonjudgmental approach, helping clients communicate more effectively, make empowered decisions, and develop habits that foster a life of joy, stability, and authentic connection. I also offer consulting to creatives at a choice point in their careers as well as socially-conscious organizations hoping to make their policies more trauma-informed.

Whether you’re struggling to resolve a conflict in an important connection, shift unhelpful habits, or reclaim a sense of purpose and dignity, I’d be honored to play a role. Schedule a free therapy consultation call today! All sessions are conducted via a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform.

Classes

Join us for Asking For A Friend: a 6-week online class on making friends as an adult. In these weekly, small group meetings, we'll combine guided discussion (speaking optional!) with light reading and activities to help build skills for making and maintaining deep bonds.

Curriculum will touch on strategies for overcoming common struggles related to social anxiety, neurodiversity, mental/ chronic illness, long-distance moves, and the impact of trauma on our ability to trust. We’ll address the specific challenges of making friends at various life stages and circumstances.

Together, we’ll determine our friendship must-haves and dealbreakers, draft text messages and bios for friend-making apps, and talk about how to fit friend dates into our already-packed schedules. Participants will leave with a better understanding of themselves and their communities of choices, as well as customized strategies for creating a social life that feels authentic, supportive, and deeply fulfilling.

All ages, genders, sexual orientations, and levels of introversion/extroversion welcome! First session begins next Tuesday, Nov 14th 6-7:30pm CST / 7-8:30pm EST and meets weekly through Dec 19th. $100 deposit; remaining $100 due halfway. All readings will be provided — no additional costs. Class discussions will be held in English.
